Patricia and her husband has a fast food business in their native Columbia before criminal organizations started to threaten their families. Being forced to flee in the night, they had to leave all their belongings behind. “It is tough to run away and leave your house empty-handed, only with your children”

Arriving at the pier of San Lorenzo, Patricia found a job in a donut business. Through her salary and the provided food support and guidance to improve savings, her family was able to afford everything that they needed.

Patricia dreams of one day owning her own bakery where she can give jobs to those who need it.

Thanks to this, I can start again, keep fighting…and the business can’t stop because people appreciate our work
